International Trade, Commodities and Overseas Business Setup

From market entry and company formation to physical commodity transactions, banking applications and logistics coordination: integrated support for your international business.

Successful international trade requires more than matching a product with a buyer. Corporate structure, payment arrangements, specifications and delivery must work together. IBL turns your commercial objectives into an actionable plan connecting these elements.

Our international commercial activities reach Europe and the Americas, strengthening the connection between sourcing and sales. With a London–Türkiye perspective, we support market access, commercial relationships and operational coordination. Each destination and transaction is assessed on its own requirements.

International trade and market entry

We assess products, markets, buyers and suppliers against your import and export objectives. Our support helps compare offers, clarify the cost structure and establish a practical framework for commercial negotiations.

Buyer expectations, production capacity, minimum order quantities, quality documentation, delivery schedules and after-sales responsibilities belong in the same plan. Our aim is to help develop sustainable commercial relationships beyond an individual shipment.

Physical commodity transactions and sourcing

We support buying and selling processes for metals, industrial raw materials, agricultural commodities and other physical goods suited to the project. Product definition, quality, origin, quantity, pricing method and delivery terms need a clear shared understanding.

Supplier and buyer assessment, samples, independent inspection planning, payment documents and shipment readiness are considered together. IBL’s role as adviser, coordinator or commercial counterparty is expressly defined in the contract.

Overseas company formation

We coordinate the assessment of company, subsidiary or branch options with local specialists. Ownership, management, registered address, business activities and continuing obligations are planned before incorporation.

Alongside document preparation and formation follow-up, we support arrangements with accounting, tax and legal advisers. Incorporation does not itself provide a bank account, visa, residence or work permission; these require separate assessment.

Business bank account applications

We review institutional options in light of your activity, target countries and payment needs, and support preparation of company records, ownership and beneficial-owner information, business descriptions and transaction profiles.

Account approval and the services available depend on the bank’s review. We coordinate application follow-up and requests for additional information without promising approval or a fixed opening date.

Logistics: from origin to delivery

We plan sea, road, air and, where suitable, rail options around product characteristics, cost and delivery schedules. We support coordination of carriers, storage, loading, transfers and final delivery.

Working with customs specialists and relevant providers, we consider documents, packaging, cargo security, insurance needs and delivery responsibilities. Temperature requirements for food, weight and breakage risks for marble, and dimensions and handling for machinery demand different logistics plans.

Services shaped around your sector

We tailor the scope to each sector’s quality, documentation, storage and delivery requirements.

  • Manufacturing and machinery: production equipment, components, industrial materials and supply-chain coordination.
  • Defence and aerospace: sourcing and commercial coordination for permitted products and projects, subject to relevant export controls, end-user review and required authorisations.
  • Food and agriculture: specifications, traceability, shelf life, packaging and cold-chain needs where applicable.
  • Marble and natural stone: quality, dimensions, packing and delivery planning for blocks, slabs and finished products.
  • Metals and industrial raw materials: steel, copper, aluminium and other physical inputs appropriate to the requirement.
  • Building materials, textiles and packaging: technical requirements, production schedules and destination-market expectations.

Europe, the Americas and other international markets

Our commercial activities with Europe and the Americas consider the product, counterparty and delivery conditions together. For projects in other international markets, we assess country-specific feasibility, sourcing opportunities and local expertise requirements.

Access to a market involves more than an introduction. The commercial model, local entity structure, collections and logistics must serve the same objective. IBL connects these strands through a shared working plan.

One coordination process, clear responsibilities

We first clarify your product, destination, anticipated volume and timetable. Scope, responsibilities, fees and third-party costs are then defined, with incorporation, banking, sourcing and logistics steps tracked against a practical schedule.

Our comprehensive approach brings in the appropriate expertise at each stage. From setup to operational follow-up, we organise the flow of information and support decisions with understandable proposals, document lists and regular progress reviews.
